SC Pickleball Cues

Safety & Legal Notice

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This notice applies to the Pickleball Cues app and its local practice and Game Day tools.

Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath, or unsafe conditions. Move away from active courts before looking at or operating your device.

Educational Sports Guidance

Pickleball Cues provides general educational information, self-directed practice cues, timers, diagrams, and recreational event-organization tools. It does not provide in-person coaching, officiating, supervision, or an individualized assessment of your technique, fitness, surroundings, or equipment.

Physical Activity And Inherent Risk

Pickleball involves rapid movement, sudden stops, repetitive motion, contact with equipment, moving balls, heat, weather, and changing court conditions. These activities can cause injury. Practice within your current ability, warm up, use suitable footwear and equipment, maintain adequate space and hydration, protect nearby players, and follow venue rules.

You are responsible for deciding whether a drill or match is appropriate for you and for adapting or stopping when conditions change. A parent, guardian, coach, or responsible adult should supervise minors when appropriate.

Not Medical Advice Or A Medical Device

Pickleball Cues is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or health condition. Its content is not medical advice, physical therapy, rehabilitation, emergency guidance, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

If you have an injury, health condition, concerning symptoms, or questions about whether an activity is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

No Real-Time Safety Monitoring

Audio cues, timers, diagrams, scorekeeping, and suggested progressions do not monitor your heart rate, fatigue, pain, local weather, traffic around a court, court-surface hazards, ball machines, or nearby players. They can be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate. Keep attention on play and confirm important information yourself.

Equipment, Rules, And Third-Party Names

Equipment specifications, certification references, and rule explanations can change. Verify equipment eligibility and current rules with the applicable manufacturer, venue, league, tournament, or official rulebook before relying on them in organized play.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pickleball Cues is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by USA Pickleball, DUPR, UPA-A, an equipment manufacturer, or a venue. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Game Day, Matching, And Recorded Results

Game Day, Open Play Mixer, court assignments, and optional pairing preferences are recreational organization aids. They do not verify a player's identity, conduct, ability, availability, safety, or compatibility with other players. Organizers remain responsible for supervision, venue requirements, appropriate groupings, and resolving disputes.

Practice results, personal bests, comparable results, and match details are player-recorded unless a screen expressly says otherwise. They are not certified athletic measurements, medical findings, official ratings, or guarantees of future performance.

Availability And Limitation

Pickleball Cues may contain errors and may be unavailable or interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you use the app and participate in activities at your own risk. Pickleball Cues does not guarantee injury-free participation, uninterrupted service, exact match balance, or a particular result.

Nothing in this notice excludes, restricts, or changes any right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The legal effect of a limitation varies by jurisdiction.

Local Game Day And Device Attention

Do not look at, operate, or hand off a device while moving into a ball, standing in a traffic lane, or near an active court. Confirm an official score, venue rule, weather condition, or line call independently. Local Game Day controls are convenience tools; organizers remain responsible for people, equipment, supervision, and safe court conditions.

Content And Intellectual Property

Pickleball Cues content, software, graphics, audio, and original instructional materials are owned by Pickleball Cues or used under license. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial practice. Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with their respective owners.
